The output of city street rainwater.
The problem is that there is no filter screen on the +150 outputs. Everything washed down the city street drain, goes directly into the river. No one complains because they themselves are not personally injured.
The solution to the problem would be placing filter screens on the outputs, and the garbage regularly removed. This would take money: 1) to employ a person to do this job, and 2) the purchasing and building of the screens (plus maintenance).
The temporary solution is to place discarded tree branches at the sewer outlets to catch the garbage before it enters the river. Then people such as I manually remove the garbage, or people notice the problem.
The problem of bags of feces is small but it is cumulative damage. Every day more plastic bags are added.

Success! With the branches I caught four bags of dog feces.2014 |
I did not clean up the plastic bags in the photo below. I decided it is a losing battle with an endless supply of more garbage.

I don't know how many of these small black dog-feces bags are the same as previous photos, sorry.
